Hall of Fame
Traci Quick (Beatrice, Neb.) became an All-Conference softball player for Nebraska Wesleyan from 1993-95 and left the program with some of the top statistical numbers in NWU history.
A three-year starter at second base, Quick was First-Team All-NIAC in 1994 when she pounded out 57 hits, the second highest total in NWU history. She was fifth in the NIAC in batting, tied for fourth in runs and ninth in stolen bases.
Quick was also First-Team All-NIAC and First-Team All-NAIA District 11 in 1993 with 48 hits in the year, which was the second highest total at the time. The transfer from Pittsburg State would go on to have 138 career hits, a mark that still ranks 9th on the all-time charts.
She still holds NWU school records for games played in a season (41) and at-bats in a season (148) and appears on the NWU Top 10 charts in nine different categories.
A true student-athlete, Quick was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American earning Third-Team recognition in 1994 and 1995.
