Tailgating and Fan Guidelines
Nebraska Wesleyan University encourages tailgating in a fun, family-friendly environment. While we want you to have an exciting experience, we ask that you be respectful of those surrounding you, being mindful of your choice of language and activity. Anyone who acts in a disruptive, disrespectful or disorderly manner will be asked to leave the area. Please keep music at a volume level that is respectful of your tailgating neighbors. We ask that you adhere to the following parameters as you support our student-athletes while at the same time maintaining an atmosphere appropriate to the NCAA Division III Athletics “Be Loud, Be Proud, Be Positive” model and the Mission of Nebraska Wesleyan University.
- You must provide your own tables, chairs, power strips and extension cords.
- Only grills permitted are propane. Open flames should never be left unattended. Grill must be a minimum of 15 feet from any building/field.
- Tents may be used without stakes. They must be secured and may not block sidewalks or driving lanes.
- Glass bottles are prohibited.
- Tailgates may last up to 60 minutes after the conclusion of the contest.

ALL SPORTS
All areas for the
HOME and
AWAY teams will be located in the lots below for your tailgating experience for both pre and post-game. Unfortunately, there is no indoor space available even if there is inclement weather. Please check in with the Game Day Supervisor if you have any questions.
Families and students can tailgate in the following lots if space allows. Cars will not be removed from these lots for tailgating:
- Nebraska Wesleyan University Weary Center parking lot (Lot 6)
- Sandhills Global Youth Complex parking lot
Time Frame (all sports)
Tailgating will begin 2 hours prior to game time and end one hour after the conclusion of the game.
Cleanup
We thank you in advance. Please leave your tailgate area clean and ready for the next group’s use. Please take out anything you bring in (trash, food, etc). There are dumpsters located near each lot for your disposal.
Venue Restrictions
No solo cups, cooking, coolers, or backpacks will be allowed into athletic venues.
