Brian Hauff (Drake, N.D.) was a 17-time All-American in track & field, tied for the most All-American honors by any athlete in Nebraska Wesleyan men’s track & field history.  He also was a CoSIDA Academic All-American excelling in the classroom as well as on the track.
 
A standout in the hurdles and a member of All-American relay teams, Hauff earned All-American honors in the hurdles at every championship meet both indoors and outdoors all four years of his career.  His top finishes were placing 3rd in the 55 meter hurdles at the 1999 NCAA III Indoor Championships and 3rd in the 110 meter hurdles at the 1999 NCAA III Outdoor Championships where NWU finished 3rd overall as a team.
 
He earned a total of six All-American awards in the 55 meter hurdles competing at the NCAA and NAIA Championships, while earning All-American recognition at all four NCAA outdoor championships in the 110 hurdles.  He also was an All-American four times in the 4x400 relay and once in the 4x100 relay.
 
Hauff is one of three athletes in school history to earn four All-American awards at a single meet, accomplishing the feat at the 1998 NCAA III Outdoor Championships.  He was a multiple time NIAC Champion in the hurdles and relays and set school records in the 400 hurdles and 4x400 relay. He was a 3rd-Team CoSIDA Academic All-American as a senior in 2000.
