Hall of Fame
An All-American on the course and off the course, Kelly Karmazin (Lincoln, Neb.) was a standout for the Nebraska Wesleyan men’s golf team from 1994-97. He was a two-time All-American and a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, the only Academic All-American in NWU men’s golf program history.

Karmazin placed 16th at the 1997 NAIA Golf Championships to earn All-American recognition. He was 26th at the 1996 NAIA Golf Championships earning honorable mention All-American honors. Karmazin was a 1st-Team Academic All-American in 1997 and a 3rd-Team selection in 1996. In 1996 he was named the Golf Coaches Association Scholar of the Year.

As a senior, Karmazin was the 1997 NIAC Champion to finish his career as a four-time All-Conference performer. He was the NIAC Runner-up in both 1996 and 1995 and finished 6th in his first championships in 1994. Karmazin was the medalist at the 1994 NAIA District 11 Championships.

The Lincoln East HS graduate played at three NCAA III Championships, starting with a 30th place finish in 1994 helping NWU to a 5th place team finish. He was also the team’s top finisher placing 31st as a senior at the 1997 NCAA III Championships.
