Joe Gohr was named the GPAC Player of the Year in 2001 after leading the conference in both goals and points. A three-time First Team All- GPAC selection, Gohr finished his career ranked third in school history in goals and second in assists. He remains the only player in NWU history to be in the top five for both career goals and career assists. Gohr helped lead the Prairie Wolves to four straight winning seasons, three conference championships, and was the offensive centerpiece for one of the most productive eras in program history.

Since graduating, Gohr has made his home in Omaha with his wife, Jaimee. He is a proud dad to Josephine and Graham, and enjoys spending time with them along with his extended family and friends.
