Brandon Schroer (Lincoln, Neb.) jumped to new heights as member of the Nebraska Wesleyan track & field team from 1994-97. Schroer is one of two men in school history to jump over 7-0 in the high jump.

Schroer, a Lincoln Southeast H.S. graduate, was the NAIA National Champion in the high jump as a senior in 1997, winning the Indoor title at the meet held at the Devaney Sports Center track. He was a 12-time All-American in the high jump and hurdles, recording the fifth most All-American awards in school history.

His jump of 7-0 at the 1997 NIAC Indoor Championships is second all-time at NWU, while his best of 6-10 outdoors is tied for fifth. He also has his name on the top ten charts for 110-meter high hurdles, 400 hurdles and indoor 55-high and 55-intermediate hurdles.

Schroer finished his standout career winning five conference titles in the high jump and one in the hurdles. He was a 19-time All-NIAC winner in both the high jump and hurdles events.

In total, Schroer earned seven All-American awards in the high jump.
