Jackie Smith was a four-time All-Conference outfielder who left an incredible mark on Nebraska Wesleyan softball. She set NWU career records for runs scored (105) and games played (145), and remains sixth all-time in career hits with 160. A dynamic presence at the top of the lineup, Smith holds the program’s single-season record for triples and helped lead the Prairie Wolves to a then-record 28 wins in a season. Her consistent excellence earned her First Team All-GPAC honors in 2004, Second Team recognition in 2002, and Honorable Mention selections in both 2001 and 2003.

Following her standout collegiate career, Smith earned a Master of Science in sport administration from Georgia State University in 2014. She has since built a distinguished career in higher education administration and finance, with more than a decade of service at leading institutions including the Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, and Harvard University. She currently manages grants at Harvard and resides in Boston, Mass.
