What Does The 'W" Club Do?
Over the years, the ‘W’ Club has been a fund to help with items and projects in all sports and allows the athletic department to allocate more of its general budget towards coaching and recruiting. The ‘W’ Club gifts cover numerous items and projects which improve the overall student-athlete experience at NWU. A donation or reoccurring donations to the ‘W’ Club provide valuable funds to be used towards items or projects such as new training equipment, new NWU branded items, team banquets, live-streaming upgrades, and countless other items.
Gifts made through the 'W' Club enable the athletic department to provide hundreds of student-athletes with a quality and memorable intercollegiate athletic experience. By joining the ‘W’ Club, you are helping to make a difference in bettering a student-athlete in competition and giving them an experience that will go beyond their time on campus!
Some Past ‘W’ Clubs Funds Have Been Used For:
- Team Banquets
- Baseball Windscreens and a Batting Cage Net
- A Softball Batting Cage Net and Pitching Machine
- A Golf Training Net
- New Weight Racks and Weights
- Live Streaming License
- A New NWU Branded Track and Cross Country Tent For Meets
