Tina Westerhold (Pender, Neb.) was one of the most prolific middle hitters in Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball history. She was a two-time 1st-Team All-AVCA Central Region selection and a four-time All-Conference performer in volleyball from 1996-99.
Westerhold earned All-Region honors in both 1997 and 1998 as well as 1st-Team All-NIAC recognition at middle hitter. She was a 2nd-Team All-NIAC honoree as a senior in 1999 and honorable mention during her freshman season in 1996.
A dominant performer at the net, Westerhold has the NWU school record with 501 career blocks which is 162 more than any other player in school history. She has the school record for career assisted blocks and ranks 2nd all-time in solo blocks.
She finished her career with over 1,000 kills and her overall hitting percentage of .291 currently ranks 3rd best in program history. Westerhold appears three times in the single season hitting percentage top ten list.
