Tom Svehla (’81) was a four-year letter winner as a quarterback in football and a four-year letter winner in baseball. In baseball, Svehla hit .374 with 10 doubles and 36 RBI his senior season as a catcher/designated hitter. As a junior, he hit .338. He earned All-NIAC First Team honors as a first-year student (1979). He was named to the All-NIAC First Team in baseball as a senior and NCAA III All-District V Team. In football, Svehla threw for 1,175 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior.
