Track and Field Finishes with All-Americans

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Prairie Wolves brought home five individual All-Americans as well as a relay team earning All-American status in Rockchester, New York at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Avery Decker earned a third place finish in the Women's Javelin with a throw of 44.44m/145'-09". Last season Decker earned a seventh place finish at the Outdoor National Championships.
Ellie Akough earned All-American honors in the Women's Discus and Hammer throw. Akough recorded a fourth place in the discus with a throw of 47.81m/156'-10". Akough then earned an eighth place finish with a hammer throw of 54.73m/179'-06".
In the 800 meter dash, Garrett Lenners brought home third place with time of 1:49.53. Lenners was one of six American Rivers Conference athletes to place in the top ten of the 800 meter dash prelims.
In the Men's 4x400 meter relay, Kyle Dickinson, Gabe Anderson, Morgan Conner, and Garrett Lenners ran to a seventh place finish. This is the first All-American honor for Conner and second for Anderson. Dickinson earned his fifth All-American honor, while Lenners earned his sixth.
Isabella Hogue was able to over come a season long battle with injuries and earn her seventh All-American honor in the 100 meter dash. Hogue placed eighth with a time of 12.47.
