Prairie Wolves Take Multiple Event Titles at Doane Dual

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves traveled to Doane University for a dual where they took multiple event titles and top five finishes.
Delaney Vacek finished second in the 800 meter race at 2:23.46.
Ellie Akough continued the success for the Prairie Wolves when she took first place in the discus with a throw of 46.47m. Mackenna Witte also threw in the discus with a mark of 40.60 meters and a runner-up finish. Akough finished second in the women's shot put with a distance of 13.16 meters. Akough also finished second with a distance of 51.53 meters in the hammer throw.
In the women's javelin throw, Avery Decker and Addie Thomas finished 1st and 2nd, respectively, with distances of 42.00 and 39.05 meters.
Kynzi Booth also took first place in the 100 meter dash when she crossed the finish line at 12.45, and right behind her in second place was Bre Geary who finished at 12.47.
The women's long jump crew of Geary, Trisha Hayes, and Natalie Cummins all finish top three.
In the 1500 meter race, Garrett Lenners took first place with a time of 3:59.44.
With a personal best time of 48.58, Gabe Anderson won the men's 400. Kyle Dickinson also threw down a personal best of 21.49 in the 200 to take the title.
The men's 4x400 meter relay consisting of Anderson, Dickinson, Lenners, and Ben Christenson took care of business winning in a time of 3:14.87, which leads all of NCAA Division III.
