Biography
2022: Earned a varsity letter for a fourth straight season... earned third career All-American accolade... finished sixth in the 400-meter dash at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships clocking a time of 47.75 seconds... NCAA National Qualifier in the 400 meters during both indoor and outdoor seasons... earned All-Conference honors in the 400 by placing second at the American Rivers Outdoor Championships with a career best time of 47.83 and third at the American Rivers Indoor Championships... recorded a career-best time of 21.84 in the 200-meter dash at the Central Nebraska Challenge... had wins in the 400 at the USD Twighlight (5/6), NWU-Doane dual (4/15), Darren Young Invitational (2/12), and Prairie Wolf Indoor Invitational (1/21).
2021: Clocked a personal best time of 48.81 to place second and achieve All-Conference honors for his third straight season at the American Rivers Conference Indoor Championships... also achieved All-Conference honors as a member of the third place 4x400m relay team... placed 5th in the 400m at the Division III Elite Indoor Championships... had wins in the 400m at the UNK Invitational, Central Triangular, and Wartburg Triangular... NCAA Division III All-American as a Junior in the 400m... Placed 8th in the 400m with a time of 48.09 at the Division III Outdoor Championships... also a National Qualifier as a member of the 4x400 meter relay team... Finished first in the 400m with a time of 48.46 at the American Rivers Conference Outdoor Championships to ear All-Conference honors... member of third place 4x400 meter relay team at the A-R-C Outdoor Championships... clocked a career-best time of 47.98 in the 400m to finish second at the South Dakota Invitational.
2020: A two-time indoor All-Conference honoree as a sophomore for the Prairie Wolves... placed 3rd in the 400m with a season best time of 49.55 at the American Rivers Conference Indoor Championships... was a member of the runner-up 4x400 meter relay team at the A-R-C Indoor Championships... ran a season best 200m time of 22.82 at the Nebraska Tune Up...Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 outdoor season was not contested.
2019: A two-time All-Conference honoree as a freshman for the Prairie Wolves … placed 3rd in the 400 at the American Rivers Outdoor Championships … at outdoor meet also ran on 4x400 relay that was 5th … earned his other All-Conference honor by placing 3rd in the 4x400 relay at the A-R-C Indoor meet … just missed All-Conference recognition with a 5th place finish in 500 at indoor championships … named A-R-C Men’s Track Athlete of Week in week one of outdoor season … won the 400 meters at the Concordia Outdoor Invite to begin outdoor schedule … came back to win 400 the next meet at NWU-Doane dual … competed in the Sprint Medley Relay at the Drake Relays.
High School: An All-State performer in track and football at Friend HS … was Class D State Runner-up in both the 400 and 800 as a senior … as a junior was 3rd in the 800 and 5th in the 400 … placed 7th in 800 as a sophomore giving him five state medals … conference champion in the 400 and 800 two straight years … three-time state qualifier … led football team to three state playoff appearances … two-year starting quarterback … lettered three seasons in basketball … named senior athlete of year at Friend … earned Academic All-State in track & football … member of national honor society.
