Lincoln, Neb. - Samuel Clements was recognized as the American Rivers Conference Male Field Athlete-of-the-Week on Monday afternoon after putting up a school record in men's shot put.

Sam Clements threw right past the previous 46 year old school record of 17.29 meters with an outstanding throw of 17.54 meters (57' 6.5") at the Central Nebraska Challenge hosted by the University of Nebraska-Kearney. His throw now stands as the second farthest throw in NCAA Division III so far this season.
The Prairie Wolves will be back on the track at the Concordia Invitational this weekend.
