Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan men's and women's cross country competed against a loaded field at the Greeno / Dirksen Invitational, Saturday morning. In a meet that featured 23 schools from Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and JUCO, the Prairie Wolf men took 13th, while the women finished 17th. Additionally, NWU finished eighth and ninth in the gold division.
MEN'S MEET RECAP
Nebraska Wesleyan's men's team finished 13th overall and eighth in the gold division. The Prairie Wolves had 26 athletes compete, with 17 finishing in the top 200. The Prairie Wolves were led by 
Thomas Vasquez, who finished 49th overall, crossing the line in 25:49.67. Vasquez was followed by 
Noah Thomas who clocked in at 75th, 
Conner Ross who took 91st. The Prairie Wolves top five was rounded out by 
Diego Chojolan and 
Dylan Lender, who finished 112th and 122 respectively. 
WOMEN'S MEET RECAP
Nebraska Wesleyan's women's team finished 17th overall and ninth in the gold division. NWU had 16 athletes compete, with 13 finishing in the top 200. The Prairie Wolves were led by senior 
Delaney Vacek, who placed 76th overall after finishing in a time of 19:40.89. 
Jenna Lake followed up Vacek, finishing in 95th place, while 
Payton Jorczak held down 118th place. 
Avary Byers finished soon after coming in 121st place. 
Grace Pyle was the fifth Prairie Wolf to cross the line, securing a 142nd place finish.
