Lincoln, NE. (March 7, 2025) - Off to its best start since 1991, Nebraska Wesleyan baseball seeks to continue its winning ways during a six game Florida road trip.

LOCATION
Nebraska Wesleyan will face six opponents over the course of six days with all games being played in Auburndale, Florida.

SCOUTING NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan enters the road trip riding a 5-0 start, the program's best since 1991. The Prairie Wolves earned a sweep of Lawrence in their last series. Through five games, the Prairie Wolves have scored 54 runs on 60 hits, with a slash line of .355/.442/.580. Defensively, NWU has allowed 22 runs, while holding a fielding percentage of .923, with 120 put outs. The Prairie Wolves have also seen multiple players deliver in key spots during the winning streak, on of which being senior second basemen Carter Betts. Betts is the reigning A-R-C Position Player of the Week after obtaining seven hits, two home runs, eight RBIs, and 11 runs scored during the sweeps of Hamline and Lawrence.

NEBRASKA WESLEYAN BASEBALL TRADITION
Nebraska Wesleyan has won 23 conference championships with the most recent occurring in 2009. NWU's last tournament appearance occurred in 1982. Since joining the American Rivers Conference, the Prairie Wolves best finish is third in 2022.

SUNY enters this week with an 0-1 record, with their lone defeating coming at the hands of Montclair State University.
