LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Wesleyan standout Tyler Spreitzer has been selected to the ABCA Region IX Third Team, American Baseball Coaches Association announced on Tuesday.

The senior had one of the best seasons as a reliever in program history.  Spreitzer held a 2.10 ERA, which ranks the fifth lowest in program history and the lowest since the 1999 season. Additionally, Spreitzer made 18 appearances this season, which ranks second in program history. 

Spreitzer earned All-A-R-C Honorable Mention honors after a fantastic season. In 2026, he posted a 2.10 ERA with a .202 batting average against with 25 strikeouts in 34.1 innings pitched.
