Jake Shedarowich each earned 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
Johnson, an exercise science major with a 3.66 GPA, also earned American Rivers Conference first team all-conference honors, finishing his final season at Nebraska Wesleyan with a .344 batting average with 16 doubles, four triples, five home runs and 36 RBI. During the year, he broke two single game school records, going six-for-six in a win at Dubuque and recording nine RBIs in a 27-12 win against Howard Payne.
Shedarowich, a 3.54 student in sport management, finished his year starting 33 games, most of which were behind the plate for the Prairie Wolves. He hit .281 with 27 runs, six doubles, four home runs and 21 RBI. One of his biggest games of the season came in Florida, where the senior had three hits including a three-run homer in the seventh to put the game away against Carrol (WI). Shedarowich finished fifth on the team in hitting.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 23, 2026.
