HOW IT HAPPENED

• A Duncan Ortega RBI triple gave Nebraska Wesleyan a 3-0 lead in the top of the third.
• The Crusaders responded by scoring one run in both the third and fourth innings. 
• Both defenses settled in for the next few innings as no runs were scored.
• The Crusaders then went on to rally for four runs in the bottom of the eighth to take a 6-3 lead. 
• The University of Dallas locked down the save by recording three straight outs after Jason English reached on an error.
