Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska Wesleyan Track and Field team competed at two meets over the weekend. A select group of athletes competed at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, while a larger portion of the team traveled to Crete, Nebraska to partake in the Fred Beile Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED: FRANK SEVIGNE HUSKER INVITATIONAL

• Noah Smith earned 14th in the men's 60 meter hurdle preliminaries. His time was 8.30 seconds.
• Delaney Vacek set a new personal best and took 18th in the women's 800 meter run. Her time was 2:18.88.
• Carter Siems placed 24th in the men's 800 meter run with a time of 1:57.33.
• Morgan Conner jumped 22-01.50 in the men's long jump and took 15th.
• The women's 4x400 meter relay consisting of Bre Geary, Isabella Hilger, Gabby Thomas, and Isabella Hogue ran the third fastest time in Division III and took ninth. Their time was 3:50.87.
• The men's 4x400 meter relay consisting of Morgan Conner, Gabe Anderson, Javier Kenney, and Austin Nauert ran the ninth fastest time in Division III and took ninth. Their time was 3:17.63.

HOW IT HAPPENED: FRED BEILE CLASSIC

• Noah Smith ran the fastest preliminary time in the men's 60 meter hurdles. His time was 8.22 seconds. Smith did not compete in the 60 meter hurdle finals.
• Bethany Schuhmacher won the women's 800 meter run with a time of 2:25.36.
