CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (November 2nd, 2024) - The Nebraska Wesleyan men's and women's cross country teams competed at the American Rivers Conference Championship meet on Saturday, at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The women earned sixth as a team while the men finished in seventh. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
The women's race began at 11:00 a.m., with Nebraska Wesleyan's 12 athletes jostling for position. As the race progressed, Delaney Vacek emerged from the pack, finishing in a team best time of 24:04.0, and setting a new personal record. As a team, the women finished in sixth place, with eight runners earning a new personal best time. In the 12:00 p.m. men's race, Thomas Vasquez emerged as the top Prairie Wolf, finishing in a personal best time of 25:36.5 and earning 31st. The men's team finished in seventh place and saw 11 athletes run a new personal best.
