ABOUT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Saturday's meet will mark Nebraska Wesleyan's fourth and final regular season meet of the 2025 season. The Prairie Wolves last competed at the Dan Huston Invite, where the men took sixth, and the women claimed eighth. The Prairie Wolf men saw a breakout performance by freshman 
Noah Thomas, who placed 31st in a loaded field, in a personal best time of 26:01.50. As for the women, 
Delaney Vacek continued to perform at a high level, taking 25th out of 199 competitors and crossing the line in 24:06.6. Throughout the year, the Black and Gold have shown consistent improvement and look to capitalize on positive momentum as the season nears its end. 
HEAD COACH CHAD BERENS
Chad Berens is in his third year as head coach for Nebraska Wesleyan cross country. Prior to joining NWU, Berens served as the director of track and field and cross country operations at the University of Utah.
NEBRASKA WESLEYAN CROSS COUNTRY TRADITION
Nebraska Wesleyan has a rich cross country tradition. The men's team has captured 22 conference championships, while the women's team has won 15. Nationally, the men have finished in the top 10 nine times, and the women have placed in the top 20 nine times.
