ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (October 19th, 2024) - The Nebraska Wesleyan cross country teams traveled to Rock Island, Illinois, for the Augustana Interregional Invitational on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Both the men's and women's teams ran hard against tough competition. Nebraska Wesleyan finished 33rd in a loaded men's gold division field, while the women took 11th in a crowded blue division. The men were paced by sophomore Thomas Vasquez who finished in 133rd after clocking a time of 26:07.1. The women were led bu junior Delaney Vacek who earned 31st place after crossing the line in 24:29.1. The Prairie Wolf men finished in an average time of 27:01, while the women finished in an average time of 25:42,
