Game 1

• The Coe Kohawks defeated the Nebraska Wesleyan University baseball team 11-0 on Saturday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
• Coe scored early and often, plating tallies in three of its six trips to the plate.
• The Kohawks scored four runs in the third inning before adding more in the fourth and fifth.
• In the loss, the Prairie Wolves only managed one hit, a single by Alex Angele.
• Alejandro Espinoza, the Nebraska Wesleyan starter, went four and two third innings, striking out two Kohawks in the process. The right-hander was tagged with 11 runs on 13 hits.

Game 2

• The Nebraska Wesleyan comeback ninth inning fell just short Saturday in the series finale as the Coe Kohawks completed a series sweep with an 9-8 win in Cedar Rapids.
• After eight innings, the Prairie Wolves were down 9-7, but they scored a run in the ninth to close the gap to one run, falling just short.
• NWU was held to just two hits through the first four innings but finished with eight for the game, drawing to within a run on an RBI single by Duncan Ortega in the ninth. 
• For just the eighth time all year the Prairie Wolves committed zero errors on the contest.
• Noah Unger received the ball for the Prairie Wolves to begin the game, marking his tenth start of the year on the mound. In response, the right-hander struck out four batters and held Coe scoreless in four of his six innings pitched. Junior, Robbie Ross took the loss falling to 0-1 on the season.
