In the game opener of the Prairie Wolves' run in California, NWU struggled to get anything going on offense and defense.
Alejandro Espinoza started the game giving up six runs on seven hits and totaled four strikeouts. Max Brammier, Austen King, and Bobby Simmons followed Espinoza on the mound combining for five runs on seven hits and six strikeouts.
