Final Results

OMAHA, Neb. (April 12, 2022) - The Nebraska Wesleyan women's golf team won the College of Saint Mary/Midland University Spring Classic at Tiburon Golf Club in Omaha. The Prairie Wolves shot a team score of 365 to win the title by three strokes. Additionally, it is the program's first tournament win under head coach Ryan Norman.

NWU had four of its five golfers place in the top 10. Madison Jackson led the way with an 85 to finish as the tournament's runner-up. Megan Lutt carded a 90 to place fifth on the leaderboard. Emalie Wightmann finished in eighth place with a 94 as Brooke Speer trailed by just two strokes to place 10th. Hayley Reicks rounded out the scorecard with a 99. 

Jackson missed winning the individual title by just one stroke to Morningside's Sofia Castelan. For Jackson, it is her best tournament finish as a Prairie Wolf. As a team, NWU was the only one to finish with four players in the top 10 of the individual field.
