CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Nebraska Wesleyan Men's Soccer has been picked to finish tied for third in the American Rivers Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced by the conference Tuesday morning.
The Prairie Wolves received 37 points in the preseason poll, matching Central College for third place. Wartburg College was selected as the preseason favorite with 46 points and six first-place votes, while Loras College followed with 38 points and one first-place vote.
Nebraska Wesleyan finished fifth in the A-R-C regular-season standings in 2025, posting an overall record of 6-7-5 and a 4-2-2 mark in conference play. The Prairie Wolves went 2-3-1 at home last season.

Franklyn Herasme all earned All-A-R-C honors in 2025 and return for the 2026 campaign.
Owen Glogowski also returns after missing the majority of last season due to a season-ending injury. Glogowski is a two-time All-A-R-C honoree, earning recognition in 2023 and 2024.
The Prairie Wolves will look to build on last season's conference success with a veteran group returning to the pitch in 2026.
Nebraska Wesleyan opens the 2026 season Tuesday, Sept. 1, traveling to Mankato, Minnesota, to face Bethany Lutheran College. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
