LINCOLN, Neb. — College Sports Communicators announced that four members of the Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer program have been named to the 2025 Academic All-District Team: juniors Franklyn Herasme, Thomas Pisasale, Brenden Zuerlein, and Henry Spethman.
All four Prairie Wolves earned the honor by excelling both in competition and in their academic pursuits. Herasme holds a 3.72 GPA as an Accounting major, Pisasale carries a perfect 4.00 GPA in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Zuerlein maintains a 3.89 GPA in Exercise Science, and Spethman owns a 3.83 GPA as a Political Science major.
The Academic All-District program recognizes student-athletes who meet high performance standards in the classroom and on the field. Nominees must achieve at least a 3.50 grade point average and meet participation benchmarks, either competing in 90 percent of their team's contests or starting at least two-thirds of their matches.
Nebraska Wesleyan's four selections highlight the program's continued commitment to academic success and competitive excellence.
