HOW IT HAPPENED
The Prairie Wolves set the tone early, claiming the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Glenn McChristian stepped in at No. 5 and was equally commanding, turning in a 6-1, 6-0 win over Gaull. Nichols added a 6-3, 6-3 decision over Wallrichs at No. 2 to put the match out of reach.
Voss dropped a 6-0, 6-1 decision to Murrie at No. 1 singles. Briggs provided the afternoon's most hard-fought contest at No. 3, splitting the first two sets before losing the match tiebreak 10-3 to Tanner Laube, the final singles result of the day.
