LINCOLN, Neb. — Nebraska Wesleyan University men's tennis players Gavin Nichols, Ian Armbrust, Sam Rademacher and Glenn McChristian have been named to the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team, the College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday.
Armbrust and Rademacher each earned the honor for the second consecutive year, while Nichols and McChristian received the recognition for the first time in their careers.
Nichols, a sophomore majoring in exercise science, posted a 3.85 cumulative grade-point average. Rademacher, a junior majoring in financial planning, carries a 3.82 GPA. Armbrust, a junior studying biology and modern language studies, and McChristian, a junior majoring in history, each recorded a 3.71 GPA.
The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in eligibility standing, carry a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 and have appeared in at least 70 percent of their team's matches. The program recognizes honorees across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Nebraska Wesleyan finished the 2025-26 season 6-10 overall and 4-4 in American Rivers Conference play.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where first, second and third-team honorees will be selected at the national level.
