ABOUT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan's men's and women's teams have continued to improve as the season rolled along. The Prairie Wolves opened their campaign with dominant dual victories over Simpson and Minnesota Morris. NWU then earned second at the UNK invite before competing in a loaded field at the three day Phoenix Fall Classic in late November. After over a month without a meet, NWU returned to the pool with a dominant senior day performance that saw the women sweep a double dual while the men defeated Iowa Western Community College to ring in the new year. The Black and Gold proceeded to visit Grinnell, Iowa, and had another strong showing, finishing with 10 event winners along with two program and one meet record. The Prairie Wolf women continued their positive momentum into dual against Morningside, which saw the team win all 14 events while cruising to a 188-35 victory to finish a perfect 5-0 in dual meets. However the men would fall to the Mustangs 147-107 and concluded their regular season 3-1 in duals.Â
HEAD COACH KYLE HUNT
Kyle Hunt is in his seventh season as the head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan. During his tenure, Hunt has guided the Nebraska Wesleyan men and women to four runner up finishes at the American Rivers Conference Swim and Dive Championships.
