Lincoln, NE (April 7th, 2025) - After starting Conference play with a 7-0 victory over Buena Vista, Nebraska Wesleyan men's tennis opens a five match home streak by playing host to Central, Loras, and Dubuque.

LOCATION & MATCH TIME
Nebraska Wesleyan will play Central on Tuesday, April 8th, with match time set for 4:00 p.m. The Prairie Wolves will then host Loras at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11th, before welcoming Dubuque for a 10:00 a.m. match on Saturday, April 12th. All three matches will be played at LSF Sports Complex, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

ABOUT THE PRAIRIE WOLVES
Nebraska Wesleyan (3-5, 0-0 A-R-C) is 2-2 during spring play, after posting a 1-3 record during the fall. The Prairie Wolves defeated Buena Vista 7-0 in their last match, which saw NWU earn all but one victory in two sets. The Prairie Wolves hold a 14-10 record in spring singles play.

HEAD COACH LEE STEINBROOK 
Lee Steinbrook is in his sixth year as head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan. Under his leadership, the Prairie Wolves have consistently grown and competed at a high level, with multiple players earning conference honors. Steinbrook's focus on developing both the athletic and academic skills of his players has been a cornerstone of the team's success.

A LOOK AT THE DUTCH
Central enters Tuesday with a 6-10 overall record, with all dual matches played in the spring. The Dutch hold a 1-0 record against A-R-C competition. Central is coached by Ryun Ferrell. 

SERIES HISTORY VS CENTRAL
Tuesday will mark the 17th meeting between the Prairie Wolves and Dutch. Central leads the all time series 14-2.

A LOOK AT THE DUHAWKS
Loras enters this week with a 5-10 record. The Duhawks are 0-2 in A-R-C play. Prior to visiting NWU, Loras will play host to Wartburg on Tuesday, April 8th. Loras is coached by Cam Long.

Friday will mark the eighth meeting between the Prairie Wolves and Duhawks. Loras leads the all time series 5-2.

Dubuque enters this week with an 8-8 record. The Spartans are 0-3 in A-R-C play. Prior to visiting NWU, the Spartans will visit Buena Vista on Friday, April 11th. Dubuque is coached by Chad Fenwick.
