Despite the result, the Prairie Wolves secured their spot in next week's American Rivers Conference Tournament, set to begin Tuesday.

Coe, ranked #65 in the latest ITA national poll, took control early with three decisive doubles wins. Coe topped Nebraska Wesleyan's Jacob Balfany and Sam Rademacher 6-1 at No. 1, while Gavin Nichols and Tyler Blair fell by the same score at No. 2. Ian Armbrust and Glenn McChristian rounded out doubles play with a 6-1 defeat at No. 3.
In singles, the Prairie Wolves fought but couldn't crack Coe's lineup. Balfany pushed Bryton Short at No. 1 before falling 6-3, 6-3. Nichols battled Joshua Tiemann at No. 2, while Rademacher forced a tight second set against Grant Idoux at No. 3 before dropping the match 6-3, 7-5. Blair and Armbrust also faced tough tests at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively, while McChristian retired early at No. 6.
