Crete, Neb. – The Nebraska Wesleyan track and field teams delivered standout performances at the Fred Beile Invite hosted by Doane University this weekend. The Prairie Wolves showcased their depth and talent across multiple events, with several athletes setting personal bests and climbing the national rankings.

Men's Highlights
Sam Clements stole the show in the shot put, breaking his own freshman school record three times en route to a first-place finish. His final throw of 16.33m (53-07.00) not only secured the win but also ranks 7th nationally and 8th in school history. Clements also competed in the weight throw, finishing 22nd with a mark of 13.64m (44-09.00).
Eric Lenz had a strong showing in the weight throw, improving his mark to 17.79m (58-04.50) in finals, moving him to 17th nationally. Lenz also placed 4th in the shot put with a season-best 15.58m (51-01.50).
Eli Mackowski cleared 2.03m (6-08.00) in the high jump, a season best that ranks 13th nationally. Teammate James Bruner set a personal record with a jump of 1.93m (6-04.00), finishing 9th.
In the 60m hurdles, Jacob Young tied the freshman school record with a time of 8.31, placing 3rd and moving into 7th on the all-time charts. Tanner Johnson also impressed, finishing 6th with a time of 8.45.
Collin Allan set a personal record in the pole vault, clearing 4.15m (13-07.25) to finish 4th.
Women's Highlights
Natalie Cummins blazed through the 60m prelims with a personal best of 7.85, ranking 8th in school history and 47th nationally. Cummins also dominated the long jump, winning the event with a mark of 5.40m (17-08.75).
Kaelyn Means led the way in the weight throw, finishing 3rd with a toss of 16.38m (53-09.00). Ja'Dein Madison followed closely, throwing a season-best 16.13m (52-11.00) to place 6th and move into 24th nationally. Freshman Lyndsie Bosquez set a personal record with a throw of 15.29m (50-02.00), ranking 48th nationally.
Emily Druse vaulted to a new personal best of 3.45m (11-03.75) in the pole vault, improving her 4th-place mark in school history and moving up to 38th nationally.
In the 60m hurdles, Rachel Smith placed 4th with a time of 9.51, while freshman Jadah Laughlin finished 5th in 9.68.
Other Notable Performances
Eli Etherton advanced to the finals in the 60m hurdles with a season-best time of 7.99, ranking 5th nationally. Chloe Mooberry placed 4th in the long jump with a mark of 5.24m (17-02.25). Ethan Olson and Leo White represented NWU in the 800m, finishing 8th and 11th with times of 2:06.45 and 2:07.87, respectively.
