LINCOLN, Neb. — College Sports Communicators announced six Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer student-athletes to the 2025 Academic All-District Team: junior Lexi Jantzen, sophomore Emily Jasa, sophomore Emma Parker, senior Jena Schultz, junior Payten Smith, and sophomore Ciara Whitley.
Each honoree earned recognition for standout work in the classroom paired with consistent contributions on the field. Jantzen owns a 3.57 GPA in Nursing, Jasa carries a 3.67 GPA in Exercise Science, and Parker holds a 3.67 in Health & Fitness Studies. Schultz, the lone senior in the group, maintains a 3.63 GPA in Nursing, while Smith posts an impressive 3.95 in Nursing. Whitley rounds out the selections with a perfect 4.00 GPA as a double major in Biology and Modern Language Studies.
The CSC Academic All-District program highlights student-athletes who meet high academic and athletic criteria. Nominees must hold at least a 3.50 GPA and either compete in 90 percent of their team's matches or start in at least two-thirds.
