LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Wesleyan hosted the 2025 Prairie Wolf Indoor Invitational at the Bob Devaney Sports Center, where the Prairie Wolves delivered standout performances in multiple events, highlighted by national rankings and personal-best marks.

Men's Highlights
Senior Eli Etherton opened his season with a time of 8.10 in the 60-meter hurdles prelims, winning his heat and moving to 7th nationally in Division III. Etherton followed with an 8.43 in the finals, finishing eighth.
Junior McClain Meyer led the sprinting group with a victory in the 400 meters, clocking 49.97 to secure first place. Teammates Cole Duba and Connor Plahn finished fifth and sixth, respectively, with times of 51.42 and 51.72.
In the throws, senior Eric Lenz improved his weight throw mark to 17.05 meters, ranking him 26th nationally, and recorded 15.44 meters in the shot put, which moves him to 21st nationally. Freshman Sam Clements added a second-place finish in the shot put with 15.88 meters.
Sophomore Jacob Wertz and Lucas Steuter placed second and third in the 600 meters with times of 1:24.32 and 1:24.59, respectively.
Women's Highlights
Junior Delaney Vacek placed fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:20.44, which converts to 2:22.05, placing her 39th nationally.
Senior Emily Druse cleared 3.35 meters in the pole vault, finishing fourth and moving to 39th nationally.
Sophomore Kaelyn Means placed fourth in the weight throw with a distance of 16.26 meters. Junior Ja'Dein Madison added an eighth-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 12.55 meters, moving her to 33rd nationally in Division III.
Sophomore Rachel Smith advanced to the finals in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.41 in the prelims and placed fourth in the finals with a time of 9.51.
The women's 'A' 4x400 relay team of Chloe Mooberry, Natalie Cummins, Raegan Levi, and Vacek ran 4:03.27 to place second, while the 'B' team of Jadah Laughlin, Smith, Jersey Koza, and Grace Pyle ran 4:20.80 to finish sixth.
