LINCOLN, Neb. (June 20, 2024) – In his first recruiting class with the Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer program, head coach Kevin Lebahn is welcoming 12 new student-athletes to campus for the 2024 season.
"I am very excited for our incoming class to join our returning group this fall," Lebahn said. "We will be bringing in a bigger class this year, with nine first-years and three transfers. Our incoming class will add a lot of depth to a strong returning core. Our returners put in a lot of work this spring, not only on the field but also into our program and our values. I believe our incoming class will fit into our team's culture and will continue to raise the level of play and commitment to NWU women's soccer."
Lebahn got his sights set on the 2024 season early as he welcomed Hastings College transfer, Ryleigh Singh, to Lincoln in January. Building off of Singh, NWU secured three more transfers, two of whom are coming from a Division II program, and nine first-year athletes. Texas, North Dakota, Colorado, Iowa, and Nebraska are all represented in this year's recruiting class.
