Nebraska Wesleyan University's Athletics Director Dwight Merilatt announced the hiring of Kevin Lebahn as the 12th women's soccer head coach in program history in April 2023.
After most recently working as the men's soccer assistant coach, goalkeeper coach, and women's assistant soccer coach at Iowa Western Community College, Lebahn brings college experience to Nebraska Wesleyan University. The Reivers ended the 2021 season with a 16-1-2 record under his leadership, winning both the ICCAC Regular Season NJCAA Region XI title and National Championship.
Previously to Iowa Western, Lebahn served as an assistant and goalkeepers coach for the men's soccer team at Augsburg University. The Auggies saw success with the men's team going 38-32-10 during those five seasons.
He has experience coaching at Sporting Nebraska Football Club in Omaha and acting as the Director of Goalkeeping and Girl's College Advisor. In addition, he has also served as an assistant for the Sporting Nebraska United Women's Soccer teams.
In 2016, Lebahn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Saint John's University (MN). He was a standout as a student-athlete at Saint John's being a two-time All-Conference player and team captain.
