LINCOLN, Neb. (June 11, 2024) – Nebraska Wesleyan University Director of Track and Field and Cross Country, Derrick McKenzie, has announced the commitment of 52 student-athletes to the Class of 2028.

"I am very excited for this big and talented recruiting class," said Coach McKenzie. "Not only will it bring in more depth, but also national-level talent that ranges across the country and the world. Our staff can't wait for the opportunity to get this group rolling with the rest of the team."

The Class of 2028 comes to Nebraska Wesleyan from seven different states and one different country. The Prairie Wolves recently concluded their 2023-24 season, where they had 19 national qualifiers and five NCAA All-American performances including two NCAA runner-up finishes.
