LINCOLN, Neb. (April 30, 2024) - After quickly snapping a one-year drought from the A-R-C Tournament, No. 5 Nebraska Wesleyan traveled to Pella, Iowa, to take on No. 4 Central College. Although improving from their regular season meeting, the Prairie Wolves were defeated 5-1.

  HOW IT HAPPENED

  • After being blanked in singles, NWU got on the board in the first doubles match of the evening. Ryan Carey and Jacob Balfany made easy work out of Central's  No. 1 doubles, defeating them 8-5. 
  • Sam Rademacher and Tyler Blair battled for a tiebreaker at No. doubles, but came up just short, respectfully,
  • Despite the loss and end to the season, the Black and Gold showed signs of improvement on Tuesday. Three tiebreakers were forced throughout the evening, and all six Prairie Wolves competing scored.
