ABOUT THE PRAIRIE WOLVES
Nebraska Wesleyan (2-3, 1-2 A-R-C) aims for its second consecutive conference home victory after defeating Buena Vista 34-21 in their A-R-C home opener on October 5th.
Sophomore quarterback Connor White leads the Prairie Wolf offense, throwing for 1,166 yards and 10 touchdowns over five games with a 62.16% completion rate. His primary target, Cole Siems, tops the team in receptions (29) and receiving yards (367). In the run game, Nathan Athouris has rushed for 144 yards and one touchdown. As a unit, NWU is averaging 21.4 points per game.
On defense, the Prairie Wolves allow 28.2 points per game. Brian Keller is Nebraska Wesleyan's all-time winningest coach with a career record of 131-137. Keller's accolades include leading NWU to a share of the 2000 GPAC championship and coaching 39 All-Conference players and 46 All-Americans since the program transitioned to NCAA Division III.
