LINCOLN, Neb. – After passing for a school-record 491 yards in a 49-41 loss at Chicago, sophomore quarterback Levi Murphey has been named the American Rivers Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Murphey had a historic performance in the loss, completing 32 of 61 passes for 491 yards and four touchdowns. His 491 passing yards are the most by an NCAA Division III quarterback this season and the most by an A-R-C quarterback by more than 100 yards.

For his efforts, Murphey was named the A-R-C Offensive Player of the Week. He is the first Nebraska Wesleyan player to earn the honor since Joey McLaughlin on Sept. 29, 2025.

The sophomore from Augusta, Georgia, earned his first conference honor in his first career start.
