Lincoln Nebraska (March 4th, 2023)- The Nebraska Wesleyan Track and Field team finished their regular season at the Wartburg Qualifier on Saturday. The meet saw several personal bests and multiple athletes clinch a spot at next week's NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Marshall Chasek ran a 8.32 in the prelims of the men's 60 meter hurdles and qualified for finals. Chasek followed up his prelim performance by setting a personal best in finals and barely missing the national qualifying mark.
  • Connor Wilcox set a new personal best in the men's weight throw with a throw of 16.72 meters and finished in third.
  • Dallen Booker, Nolan Reynolds, and Steven Dalmeida all ran under 23 seconds in the men's 200 meter dash.
  • Eli Mackowski finished third in the men's high jump with a jump of 1.99 meters.
  • The men's 4x400 meter relay consisting of Kyle Dickinson, Ben Christenson, Gabe Anderson, and Garrett Lenners ran a 3:15.60 to finish in first. More importantly, this time secures a spot in the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships next weekend.
  • Isabella Hogue ran a 24.87 to finish in second in the women's 200 meter dash. Her time is currently the third fastest in the nation.
