HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Prairie Wolves were unable to secure a win in their first day of competition in Pella, Iowa. Nebraska Wesleyan lost to Muhlenber College (Pa.), 34-9 and Schreiner University, 41-10. 
• In the first dual, Jared Gallub got NWU on the board. Gallub secured a 3-2 win at 149 lbs. 
• Four matches later, Casey Kinnell got the job done over his opponent at 197 lbs.. Kinnell won by fall at the 5:48 mark.
• Michael Barretto picked up his third dual win of the season against Schreiner University. The freshman won by major decision at 133 lbs., 14-2.
• Peyton Haupt recorded his first dual win as a Prairie Wolf at 174 lbs. Haupt pinned his opponent in the first period, adding six points to the team total.
