Lincoln, Neb. (April 9, 2022) – The Nebraska Wesleyan men's tennis team hosted their final regular season home match of the year against Simpson. The Prairie Wolves defeated the Storm, 6-3.

Ryan Carey and Will Olson started doubles off fast with an 8-6 victory, at No. 1 Doubles. At Doubles No. 2, the Prairie Wolves continued their success with an 8-2 victory, at the hands of Jacob Balfany and Max Rademacher. The No. 3 doubles team of Hayden Retzlaff and Connor Kelley would secure an 8-4 victory, giving the Prairie Wolves a 3-0 lead heading into singles.

NWU would get off to a strong start in singles, with Ryan Carey securing a 6-3, 6-1 win at the No. 1 position. Will Olson added a win in three sets at No. 2. The Storm would win matches at Singles No.3, 4, and 5. Hayden Retzlaff would secure the team win with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at the No. 6 spot
