Doane Tops Men’s Tennis


CRETE, Neb. (April 19, 2022) - The Nebraska Wesleyan men's tennis team fell to Doane, 5-2, in a non-conference dual in Crete, Nebraska. 

The Prairie Wolves earned the doubles point in the NAIA scoring system by winning two of the three matches. Ryan Carey and Will Olson pulled off a tight victory at No.1 Doubles, 7-6 (7-4). At No. 2 Doubles, Jacon Balfany and Max Rademacher cruised to a 6-3 victory.

Doane was able to secure points with wins in five of the six singles matches. But NWU was able to steal a point at No. 5 Singles. Hayden Retzlaff made quick work of his opponent, winning 6-1, 6-4.
