LINCOLN, Neb. (January 21, 2022) - The Nebraska Wesleyan men's and women's track and field teams opened the 2022 indoor season with the PWolf Classic at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln. NWU won six events at the meet with a field that included teams from all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA.

Moran clocked a 7.67 to win the race, which not only set a new program record but is the fastest time in NCAA Division III. Gabby Thomas also enjoyed a successful first indoor meet after qualifying for the NCAA Championship during the fall cross country season. Thomas won the women's one-mile race with a time of 5:15.64 then won the women's 1000 meter run with a time of 3:08.47.
