LINCOLN, Neb. (September 29, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan men's tennis fell to Doane, 9-0, at the Lincoln Sports Foundation Sports Complex. It was the first dual of the 2021-22 season for NWU.

The Tigers swept the three doubles points to open the match. NWU battled in No. 2 Doubles as Jacob Balfany and Hayden Retzlaff lost a tight match, 8-7.

In singles action, Doane took all six points. The Prairie Wolves dropped another close and hard fought match at No. 4 Singles. Retzlaff dropped the first set then responded with a 6-3 victory in the second set. But Retzlaff fell in the tiebreaking
third set by just four points.
