LINCOLN, Neb, (March 27, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan men's tennis (1-4, 1-4 A-R-C) fell to Luther (6-3, 4-1 A-R-C), 9-0 and Wartburg, 8-1 (9-9, 3-1 A-R-C). It was the first set of road matches for the Prairie Wolves this season.

The Knights took each of the doubles matches but not without a fight from NWU. Max Rademacher and Cole Lohoefener were narrowly edged out in their match by two points with Hayden Retzlaff and Vinh Le dropping their match but just three points. 

In singles action, Loehoefener earned the point for Nebraska Wesleyan with a win comeback win at No. 4 singles. After dropping the opening set, he won the second set 6-4 then dominated the decisive third set 10-2. Will Olson dropped a close matches in the third set. Olson bounced back to win set two 6-2 before falling in the final set by just three points at No 2 singles. 

Against Luther, the Prairie Wolves dropped the doubles points. The Norse controlled the singles matches to earn the match point at each slot. Luther is currently tied for first in the A-R-C standings with Wartburg just a match behind.
