Men’s Tennis Suffers First Loss Of The Season


LINCOLN, Neb, (March 20, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan men's tennis (1-1, 1-1 A-R-C) fell to Loras (6-3, 2-0 A-R-C), 7-2, for its first loss this season. 

The Prairie Wolves picked up a win at No. 1 singles with Ryan Carey. After dropping the first set, Carey bounced back to win the second set 6-1 then won the match with a 10-4 victory in the decisive third set. Vinh Le also picked a win in No. 5 singles with a no contest. Carey and Le have now won in singles action in back-to-back matches. 

NWU had narrow losses at No. 1 doubles as Ryan Carey and Max Rademacher lost in a tiebreaker and at No. 4 singles as Cole Lohoefener lost in the third set.
